Representatives from each of the partners within the THRIVE consortium recently attended the 3rd Transnational Partner Meeting and Train the Trainers event (10th-14th February, 2020) in Palermo, as part of the continued process of developing the THRIVE Training Programme. Over the course of the five-day meeting, the partners worked to hone the training materials, in order to ensure that the programme will most successfully cater to the priority needs of professionals working second chance education across Europe.
The THRIVE team is happy to report that the meeting was hugely productive and that the development of the training materials is well on course. We are looking forward to receiving expert feedback in relation to these materials in our upcoming pilot training sessions, which will be held with second chance practitioners from across each of the five partner countries over the coming months. Final refinements will be made to the materials based on the feedback garnered within these sessions, prior to their translation and formal cross-European launch in Autumn, 2020.
